Basketball Recap: Schlarman Takes a Loss

Schlarman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes, falling 40-20. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hilltoppers of the 45-17 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Schlarman's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Georgetown-Ridge Farm, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-10.

Schlarman will challenge Calvary Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Georgetown-Ridge Farm, they will face off against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th.
