The Berean Christian Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Campolindo Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Berean Christian will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Berean Christian and Las Lomas, and Berean Christian kept the tradition alive. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Knights 11-10. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by just one run.
Holly Miller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered eight earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Berean Christian let Olivia Kundysek and Leila Rhoads run wild. Kundysek went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double, while Rhoads went 3-for-4 with two runs. Rhoads is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. LeAna Cimarra was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Berean Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Campolindo won against Mt. Diablo on Thursday with 14 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Cougars blew past St. Patrick-St. Vincent 14-8. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.
Paige Williams made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Williams was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cassidy Mintz, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Gracie Hamilton also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Berean Christian's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Campolindo, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.
Everything went Berean Christian's way against Campolindo in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Berean Christian made off with an 18-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
