West Ranch had lost three games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 17-9  on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Golden Valley Grizzlies with a sharp  9-1 win. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Grizzlies, too.
The team  relied heavily on  Mikey Murr, who  went 1-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.  Nolan Stoll was another key player,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: West Ranch  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Golden Valley only managed five  hits.
As for Golden Valley, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost 12 of their last 16 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record  this season. Their loss continues a  trend for the  team, making it eight in a row.
 On Golden Valley's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Bryce Gayles, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run.
West Ranch will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Grizzlies: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 3:15  p.m.  on Friday.
