Southwest Guilford is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They blew past Hopewell 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-10, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Cuthbertson came up short against Marvin Ridge on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13, 25-14.

Southwest Guilford pushed their record up to 18-11 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Cuthbertson, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-8.

Southwest Guilford was able to grind out a solid win over Cuthbertson when the teams last played back in October of 2018, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cowboys since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
