Baseball Recap: 13 Straight Home Victories for Turlock

While Turlock's win against Pitman wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Pride 3-1. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Turlock's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Mason Hackler, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Turlock pushed their record up to 11-5-1 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Pitman, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.

Turlock will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Pride: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
