Davidson Day entered their tilt with Victory Christian Center on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Victory Christian Center Kings, sneaking past 49-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Patriots have posted since December 29, 2023.

Victory Christian Center's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carlos Marshall, who went 8 for 13 on his way to 17 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. Those 17 points gave Marshall a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Abubakar Cham, who went 7 of 9 en route to 15 points.

Davidson Day is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season. As for Victory Christian Center, the loss snapped their winning streak at ten games and leaves them with a 14-7 record.
