Hoover has gone a perfect 3-0 against Shady Spring recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Hoover Huskies will venture away from home to face off against the Shady Spring Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Shady Spring took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Hoover, who comes in off a win.

Hoover was handed a 36-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Lincoln County 52-49.

Meanwhile, Shady Spring was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 53-49 to Midland Trail. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Shady Spring's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Hoover, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

Hoover beat Shady Spring 41-31 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hoover since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
