Volleyball Recap: Saratoga Panthers vs. Farson-Eden Pronghorns
Saratoga was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell just short of the Farson-Eden Pronghorns by a score of 3-2. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pronghorns apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September.
Saratoga took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 16-25, 22-25, 25-21, 15-5.
Addie Collins paced Saratoga's offense, picking up 15 kills. Collins got some help from
Allie Condict and her 13 assists. Collins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
Saratoga's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12-3. As for Farson-Eden, the victory snapped their losing streak at 12 games and leaves them with a 3-12 record.
As of now, neither Saratoga nor Farson-Eden have any future games scheduled.
