Flag Football Recap: Sprayberry Drops Season-High Score on Walton

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sprayberry). Everything went their way against the Walton Raiders on Thursday as they made off with a 26-0 win. The Yellow Jackets were shut out 20-0 the last time they took on the Raiders, so the Yellow Jackets were just returning the favor.

Sprayberry didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Mikyla Wilson. Wilson is crushing it when it comes to interceptions: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

Sprayberry now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Walton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coincidentally, Sprayberry and Walton will both be playing Allatoona the next time they take the field. The Yellow Jackets will host the Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Raiders will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
