Basketball Recap: Berean Baptist Academy Comes Up Short

Berean Baptist Academy played a tough match on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 62-21 loss at the hands of the Trinity Christian Crusaders. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Trinity Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyleigh Goode, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. With that strong performance, Goode is now averaging an impressive 8.2 boards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of LaNaija Walker, who went 7 for 15 on her way to 15 points in addition to seven steals and five rebounds.

Berean Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Trinity Christian, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

As of now, neither Berean Baptist Academy nor Trinity Christian have any future games scheduled.
