Football Recap: San Diego Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact San Diego can now relate to. They took a hard 21-7 fall against the Steele Canyon Cougars on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 33 points in the game before, the Cavers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Jacob Henton was the offensive standout of the game as he picked up 63 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in receiving touchdowns (two).

San Diego's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Steele Canyon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

San Diego does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Steele Canyon, they will face off against Santa Fe Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 11.7 points per game this season, so the Cougars' offense will have their work cut out for them.
