It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Farmington ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past the Conard Red Wolves 6-5. The River Hawks haven't had any issues with the Red Wolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Ty Nogiec, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Clay, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Farmington's record is now 11-2. As for Conard, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Farmington will square off against rival Northwest Catholic at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Conard is set to take on their familiar foe Avon at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
