Penn Manor fell victim to Muhlenberg and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Muhls by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Comets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Penn Manor saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Miller, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases. Miller has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played.

Penn Manor's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-8. As for Muhlenberg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Coming up, Penn Manor will square off against Hempfield at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Black Knights will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the Comets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Muhlenberg, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-2 loss against Emmaus on the 27th.
