Recap: Kenston Forest Kavaliers vs. Ridgecroft Rams
The Kenston Forest Kavaliers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Ridgecroft, falling 63-33. Kenston Forest was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-10.
Ridgecroft's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Makenzie Slaughter, who scored 18 points along with 9 assists and 7 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Slaughter has scored at least 25% of Ridgecroft's points. Another player making a difference was Hannah Slaughter, who scored 20 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals.
Kenston Forest has fallen quite a ways from their 22-4 record last season and are now at 1-4. As for Ridgecroft, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Rocky Mount Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 127th, while Ridgecroft is ranked 20th).
