Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Academy at the Lakes). They were the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over the Classical Prep Lions on Friday. Cooper Alvero was a massive factor in the win as he booted in five goals all by himself.

The victory (which was Academy at the Lakes' third in a row) raised their record to 8-3-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three matches. As for Classical Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Academy at the Lakes nor Classical Prep have any future games scheduled.
