Basketball Recap: Westminster Christian Academy Find Success + How To Watch

Westminster Christian Academy posted their closest win since February 3rd on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-48 victory over the Tanner Rattlers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Rick Seights Jr and Kaden Freeman certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Seights Jr went 6-for-14 en route to 19 points and six boards, while Freeman shot 45% from the field to rack up 14 points. Seights Jr's big performance that afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Jay Thatch also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

The win got Westminster Christian Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Tanner, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Westminster Christian Academy and Phil Campbell will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Tanner, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Mars Hill Bible at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
