Basketball Recap: Hardeeville Takes a Loss

Hardeeville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They took a 62-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ridgeland. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Ridgeland this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-55 back in January.

Ridgeland was led to victory by Jabien Harris and Jordan Sanders. Harris posted 21 points, while Sanders had 17 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Harris has scored at least a third of Ridgeland's points. Another player making a difference was Semaj Hicks, who put up eight points.

Hardeeville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Ridgeland, they pushed their record up to 5-15 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Hardeeville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ridgeland, they will challenge Carvers Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Carvers Bay's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten games.
