Cardington-Lincoln waltzed into their contest on Friday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They put the hurt on the Northmor Golden Knights with a sharp 7-1 victory. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Cardington-Lincoln's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Northmor, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

Cardington-Lincoln will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Golden Knights: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
