Basketball Recap: Centerville Elks vs. Non Varsity Opponent
Centerville gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Non Varsity Opponent Non Varsity Opponent by a score of 59-46. The Elks pushed the score to 49-29 by the end of the third, a deficit Non Varsity Opponent cut but never quite recovered from.
Centerville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ethan Greenberg out in front who went 8 for 14 en route to 19 points plus five rebounds. Cohen Ellis was another key player, going 7 for 12 en route to 18 points plus two steals.
Centerville will square off against Whitmer at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Non Varsity Opponent has already played their next game, a 58-27 loss against Trenton on the 5th.
