Volleyball Game Preview: Hanford West Huskies vs. Chowchilla Tribe + Official Tickets

The Hanford West Huskies will head out to challenge the Chowchilla Tribe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hanford West extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Jaylenne Valtierra. The Huskies came out on top against Sierra Pacific by a score of 3-1 on Thursday for which the team can thank Valtierra, who had 25 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 24-26, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Chowchilla made easy work of Parlier on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Tribe in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chowchilla took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-7, 25-10.

Hanford West's record is now 20-9-3. As for Chowchilla, their record now sits at 22-10.

Hanford West skirted past Chowchilla 2-1 when the teams last played back in September of 2018. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Tribe have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
