Volleyball Recap: Parkway North Comes Up Short

If Parkway North was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Ritenour on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Mehlville Panthers on Friday. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2021.

Misha Goldman paced Parkway North's offense, picking up 13 kills. Goldman got some help from Aidan Peete and his 24 assists. Peete was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Parkway North's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Mehlville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-6.

Parkway North has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Fort Zumwalt North on the 25th. As for Mehlville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Marquette on the 25th.
