Baseball Recap: Peninsula Takes a Loss

Peninsula was the 4-3 winner over North when they last played one another on Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saxons on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Peninsula's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for North, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-14.

Coincidentally, Peninsula and North will both be playing South the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Spartans at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Saxons will host them at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
