Rowe had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They never let the Holmes Huskies get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. With that victory, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 7 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Alex Leon, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2025. Rogan Gonzalez was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Rowe was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .571. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in five consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Rowe's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Holmes, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Rowe will look to defend their home field on Friday against Weslaco at 7:50 p.m. As for Holmes, they will head out on the road to challenge Gregory-Portland at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
