East Chapel Hill is 8-1-1 against Riverside-Durham since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wildcats will host the Pirates at 6:45 p.m.

East Chapel Hill's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Hillside as they made off with a 6-0 victory. Considering East Chapel Hill have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Riverside-Durham was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Jordan could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Riverside-Durham's goal came courtesy of Ella Cohen, who's now up to four this season.

Riverside-Durham's draw gives them a new season record of 8-5-1. As for East Chapel Hill, their win bumped their record up to 7-4-1.

East Chapel Hill skirted past Riverside-Durham 2-1 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
