Box Elder is 4-0 against Clearfield since December of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Box Elder Bees will venture away from home to face off against the Clearfield Falcons at 5:15 p.m. Box Elder is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Last Wednesday, Box Elder was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 45-44 to Bonneville.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Clearfield's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 46-35 to Bountiful. The contest was a 22-22 toss-up at halftime, but the Falcons couldn't quite close it out.

Box Elder will have to keep a close watch on Isabelle Wyaskett and Brighton Bernards, a pair of players who had a big impact on Clearfield's prior game. Wyaskett posted nine points and three steals, while Bernards earned six points. Wyaskett has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ashlee King, who put up six points.

Box Elder's record is now 1-13. As for Clearfield, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-5.

Box Elder strolled past Clearfield when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 57-38. Does Box Elder have another victory up their sleeve, or will Clearfield turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
