Football Recap: Oologah Gets the Win

While Oologah's victory against Skiatook wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs skirted past the Bulldogs 31-29. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Skiatook's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kadean Drummond, who rushed for 185 yards and one touchdown while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and Cole Bray, who rushed for 59 yards and one TD on only eight carries. Drummond really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.

The victory got Oologah back to even at 4-4. As for Skiatook, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Oologah is set to take on their familiar foe Grove at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. Meanwhile, Skiatook will face off against rival Wagoner at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st.
