Volleyball Game Preview: Fairview Apaches vs. Eastwood Eagles

The Fairview Apaches will venture away from home to take on the Eastwood Eagles at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Fairview will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Fairview made easy work of Hicksville and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-15, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Eastwood earned a 3-1 win over Otsego on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won four in a row.

The win didn't come easy: Otsego scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 26-24, 26-24, 21-25, 25-20.

Fairview's record now sits at 18-3. As for Eastwood, their record is now 15-6.

Fairview came up short against Eastwood when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 3-1. Thankfully for the Apaches, Kyrie Henline (who had 44 assists and 14 digs) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
