Football Game Preview: Cordova Blue Devils vs. Dora Bulldogs + Official Tickets

The Cordova Blue Devils will face off against the Dora Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cordova has given up an average of 32 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cordova is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Fayette County on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Blue Devils took a blow against the Tigers, falling 41-7. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dora). Everything went their way against Haleyville on Friday as they made off with a 33-7 win. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Dora's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Cordova, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Cordova was dealt a bruising 48-13 loss at the hands of Dora when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Blue Devils, Jayden Griffin (who rushed for 343 yards and five touchdowns on only 12 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
