Softball Recap: South Fort Myers Takes a Loss

South Fort Myers lost against Community School of Naples back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The South Fort Myers Wolfpack lost 19-3 to the Community School of Naples Seahawks. The Wolfpack just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

South Fort Myers' defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Community School of Naples, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

South Fort Myers will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Lee County at 6:30 p.m. on March 25th. East Lee County has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.86 runs per game on average), something South Fort Myers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Community School of Naples, they will take on Mason Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Community School of Naples is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.
