Basketball Recap: Tartan Takes a Loss

Tartan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Hill-Murray Pioneers, falling 73-45. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 294th, while the Pioneers are ranked 51st).

Tartan's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Hill-Murray, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Looking ahead, Tartan will challenge Simley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hill-Murray, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against South St. Paul at 6:30 p.m.
