The Brewer Bears will take on the Granbury Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Brewer had been on a four-game streak of scoring at least 31 points, but Ryan put an end to it on Thursday. The Bears were outmatched by the Raiders and fell 41-7. The defeat continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Granbury might've scored the first points on Friday, but it was Denton who claimed the real prize. The Pirates lost 43-19 to the Broncos. While the Pirates didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Broncos 13-0 in the first quarter.
