Volleyball Recap: Nickerson Comes Up Short

Nickerson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Trinity Academy Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Nickerson may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 14 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-14.

Nickerson's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Trinity Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Nickerson and Trinity Academy will both be playing Collegiate the next time they take the court. The Knights will head out to face the Spartans at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
