Softball Recap: Noble Comes Up Short

Noble extended their losing streak to five on Tuesday, dropping them down to 3-8. They lost 13-3 to the Marshwood Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 back in April.

As for Marshwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

For Marshwood's part, Evie Bennett was excellent, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and two RBI. Laynie Leblanc was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

While Noble had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
