Basketball Recap: Apache Takes a Loss

If Apache was riding high fresh off their 57-24 takedown of Healdton on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors came up short against the Verden Tigers on Friday, falling 39-18. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Apache now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Verden, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Apache nor Verden have any future games scheduled.
