Volleyball Recap: Severance Silver Knights vs. Chaparral Wolverines

Severance was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Chaparral Wolverines.

Austin Bright paced Severance's offense, picking up five kills. Bright got some help from Gabe Schneekloth and his ten assists. Schneekloth was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Chaparral can attribute much of their success to Logan Thomsen, who had 11 digs and one assist. Those 11 digs gave Thomsen a new career-high.

Severance's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Chaparral, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Severance didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Windsor Charter Academy on the 18th. As for Chaparral, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against George Washington on the 15th.
