The Central Christian Crusaders will head out to face off against the Konos Academy Condor at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Central Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.6 points per game this season.
Central Christian is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Lafayette Christian: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Central Christian blew Lafayette Christian out of the water with a 108-38 final score. The Crusaders pushed the score to 83-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars had no chance of recovering from.

Central Christian will need focus on slowing down Joshua Knapp, one of several Konos Academy players who made an impact when they last played. He dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds. Those 18 boards gave Knapp a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Knapp, who went 5 for 10 en route to 13 points.
Konos Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Central Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Central Christian has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 30.4 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Konos Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 31.4 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Central Christian was taken down by Konos Academy 64-32 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Knapp, who went 9 of 17 on his way to 19 points and seven rebounds.
