Soccer Recap: Lake Ridge Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Lake Ridge was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Mansfield Summit Jaguars could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The outcome might've been different if Kyson Scott hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

With that draw, Lake Ridge's record moves to 0-1-1. As for Mansfield Summit, they moved theirs to 1-3-1.

Lake Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Waxahachie on the 11th. As for Mansfield Summit, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Granbury on the 14th.
