Softball Recap: Jordan Gets the Win

Jordan proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 13) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cypress Ranch Mustangs, sneaking past 9-7.

Jordan let Madeline Jovanovic and Madison Douglass loose on the outfield. Jovanovic scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Douglass scored two runs and stole a base. Another player making a difference was Madison Royse, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Jordan's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Cypress Ranch, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Jordan wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-2 victory against North Shore on the 14th. As for Cypress Ranch, they will square off against Tompkins at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
