Volleyball Recap: Batesburg-Leesville's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Batesburg-Leesville can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against the Spring Valley Vikings by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

Kate Shealy paced Batesburg-Leesville's offense, picking up five kills. Shealy got some help from Molly Price and her 11 assists. Shealy also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Carley Soper, racking up three apiece.

Batesburg-Leesville's victory bumped their record up to 8-10-1. As for Spring Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Batesburg-Leesville has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against T.L. Hanna on the 6th. As for Spring Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Andrew Jackson on the 6th.
