Baseball Recap: Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 4-1 to the Monroe Hornets. The Trailblazers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Moehlman, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 24-9. As for Monroe, they moved to 12-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monroe, they will host Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Hornets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
