Volleyball Game Preview: Lincolnview Lancers vs. New Knoxville Rangers

Lincolnview is 2-8 against New Knoxville since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Lancers will face off against the Rangers at 7:00 p.m. Lincolnview will be strutting in after a win while New Knoxville will be coming in after a loss.

While Lincolnview's victory against Columbus Grove wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lancers had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 3-2 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Lancers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won seven in a row.

Lincolnview took Columbus Grove into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-17, 25-17, 24-26, 15-8.

Meanwhile, New Knoxville lost 3-0 to Minster on Thursday.

New Knoxville was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 29-27, 25-21, 25-14.

New Knoxville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Lincolnview, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.
