It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Framingham ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Natick Redhawks, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Flyers have posted against the Redhawks since April 13, 2022.

Framingham's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Colin Walsh, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Framingham and bumps their season record up to 6-7. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Natick, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-3-1.

Coincidentally, Framingham and Natick will both be playing Newton North the next time they take the field. The Flyers will host the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Redhawks will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
