Softball Game Preview: Los Angeles Romans vs. Diego Rivera Huskies

The Los Angeles Romans will venture away from home to face off against the Diego Rivera Huskies at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Los Angeles has now lost ten straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 22.

Los Angeles played against Santee on Friday and lost via forfeit.

Diego Rivera is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Dr. Maya Angelou Community just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Phoenix by a score of 10-9. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Diego Rivera's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for Los Angeles, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Los Angeles might still be hurting after the 23-4 loss they got from Diego Rivera in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Romans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
