Softball Recap: Claude Comes Up Short

Claude was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Kress Kangaroos, falling 19-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Kangaroos this season, with their most recent defeat being a 26-2 loss on Friday.

Claude's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Kress, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-5.

Coming up, Claude will take on Booker at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Kiowas have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.63 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of. Kress does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
