            Volleyball Recap: Bennington Badgers vs. Gretna East Griffins        
        
		
        
        
            Bennington won the last time they faced Gretna East and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Badgers came out on top against the Griffins by a score of  3-1. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Badgers.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 22-25, 25-20,  25-15.

Bennington's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Trina Schroeder, who  had nine  digs and six  aces. Those  six  aces gave  Schroeder a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Addy Olson, who  had eight  digs and three  aces.
 They weren't the only good servers: Bennington  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 14  aces. That's the most  aces they've managed all season.
Bennington's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Gretna East, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-19 record  this season.
 Bennington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  2-0  win against Treynor on the 18th. As for Gretna East, they are taking a road trip to  square off against Crete  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
