Baseball Recap: Van Takes a Loss

Van was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-7 to the Liberty Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 18-8 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Easton Moore and Earl Davis did some serious damage despite the final result: Moore went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run, while Davis went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Van's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Liberty, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Looking ahead, Van will square off against Calhoun at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberty, they will challenge James Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
