Preview: Jupiter Warriors vs. South Fork Bulldogs
Jupiter has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on The South Fork Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Thursday, everything went Jupiter's way against Palm Beach Gardens as Jupiter made off with a 42-20 victory. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Jupiter had established a 21 point advantage.
Luke Douglas was his usual excellent self, rushing for 80 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 187 yards and a touchdown.
South Fork fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They blew past Suncoast 34-10.
Omar Mejia went supernova for South Fork, rushing for 183 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Tony Jefferson ii was another key contributor, picking up 98 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Jupiter's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29 points. As for South Fork, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
Everything went Jupiter's way against South Fork when the teams last played back in November of 2022 as Jupiter made off with a 27-7 win. Does Jupiter have another victory up their sleeve, or will South Fork turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
