Volleyball Recap: Monte Vista Takes a Loss

Monte Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Dublin Gaels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-12.

Monte Vista's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Dublin, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monte Vista will square off against Dougherty Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Monte Vista is facing Dougherty Valley at the right time seeing as Dougherty Valley is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Dublin, they will challenge Foothill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
