Baseball Recap: Cannelton Bulldogs vs. Northeast Dubois Jeeps
Cannelton had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 1-9 to make it seven. They came up short against the Northeast Dubois Jeeps, falling 24-3. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Jeeps from their previous meeting back in May of 2023.
As for Northeast Dubois, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-8. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
For Northeast Dubois' part, Noah Fawks made a big impact while hitting and pitching.
