There's no place like home for Mount Juliet, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Gallatin Green Wave on Thursday as the Mount Juliet Golden Bears made off with a 14-3 win. Considering the Golden Bears have won three matches by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Chloe Younggren, who fired off two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. Anabella Brewer was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Mount Juliet hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Mount Juliet now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Gallatin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Mount Juliet will look to defend their home field on March 27th against White House at 5:00 p.m. As for Gallatin, they will challenge Portland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
